Pantech Duo Internal Cracked Screen- NEED Repair Advice

I purchased this phone when it premiered in stores 6-months ago and the internal screen has cracked.  I didn't drop it and according to my favorite cellular company, it's not under warranty because it's consider physical damage.  It was never covered under any insurance because I was told PDAs are not covered, is this true?  So you can see my dilemma.  I really want to repair the screen because the phone works fine, otherwise I have wasted $350.  Any ideas if there are LED screen repair kits or stores that repair screens for less than what AT&T would charge (e.g. the whole price of the phone)? ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
